Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity in Sittingbourne, Kent

Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their progressive and growing team in Sittingbourne. This position offers the chance to work with a supportive and thoughtful team committed to providing the highest standards of care to clients and their pets.

Role Details:

  • The role is permanent, starting as soon as possible and ongoing for the foreseeable future.
  • Full-time position, working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 weekends with no out-of-hours requirements. Flexible working is available, including school hours.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be confident, friendly, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
  • A good general small animal surgical and medical ability is required, along with a desire to learn and improve.
  • Candidates should be flexible, able to work under pressure, and share the practice’s ethos of animal welfare.

  • The team includes 2 full-time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 1 veterinary care assistant, and 4 receptionists, ensuring a good staff-to-patient ratio.
  • The practice is a member of the practice standards scheme and holds a good award for client service, known for its friendly and welcoming environment.
  • The practice offers a comprehensive range of services, from routine surgeries to orthopaedic operations, and operates 7 days a week.
