Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

• The client is seeking a dedicated Deputy Head Nurse to join their team in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
• This full-time position involves working 39.25 hours per week with 1:4 weekends.
• The salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, reflective of skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Nurse in enhancing clinical efficiency and governance within the surgery.
• Work four 9-hour shifts per week. Shift patterns are Monday to Thursday 8:00-21:30, Friday 8:00-19:30, Saturday-Sunday 8:30-15:30.
• Manage a varied caseload, including prep, operations, inpatient care, consults, and circulating.
• Cover 1 in 4 weekends with no time off in lieu.
• Share responsibilities for bank holidays throughout the year.
• Show interest in Schedule 3 development and work confidently in sole charge.
• Engage in clinical coaching duties, with training provided if needed.
