This independent practice, equipped with three consulting rooms, two operating theatres, and top-of-the-range digital x-ray and dental x-ray machines, offers a rewarding career for individuals passionate about animal care. The centre also boasts separate cattery and kennels, along with full Idexx Laboratory machines.
Requirements:
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Valid RCVS membership with the right to practice in the UK.
- Proven experience in veterinary practice.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
- Experience of working Sole Charge.
- 2 years of experience working in the UK.

Duties:
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Work Sole Charge.
- Perform surgical procedures, including emergency surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous professional development.
