Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their modern and progressive veterinary hospital in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This permanent position is ideal for experienced professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic environment.

**Who they are looking for: **

1. Primarily looking for a consult-only vet
2. Happy to offer to vet experienced in ophthalmology (combine with ophthalmology clinics and procedure day). Looking to develop these services for clients as they have a large referral potential from their 19 practices that feed into the hospital OOH and existing referral services
3. Experienced vets are happy to combine consulting with inpatient/hospital shifts. e.g., those with imaging experience and/or a passion for inpatient hospitalisation care

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide consult-only services with potential to engage in ophthalmology clinics and procedure days.
• Combine consulting duties with inpatient and hospital shifts, particularly for those with imaging experience or a passion for inpatient hospitalisation care.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota, with no sole charge, focusing mainly on emergency and critical care.
• Engage in 30-minute sick pet consultations and provide inpatient care.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

• Due to the large caseload seen at the practice, you must have substantial experience in UK veterinary practices.
• Not suitable for new graduates or those requiring in-house training.
• A strong CV illustrating significant UK experience is required.
