About the Role:

The client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide locum cover across two sites in Hatch End and Bushey through late October and November. The schedule includes day shifts with a combination of early and mid-day finishes, alongside several 10:00 am–6:00 pm shifts. The RVN will support consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgical preparation and recovery, sample collection, and operation of in-house diagnostic equipment. Confident communication with clients and collaboration with the clinical team are required. The nurse will work within established protocols and contribute to a calm, efficient workflow.

About the Practice:

The practice provides comprehensive small animal care with preventative services, diagnostics, and routine surgery. Facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory to support timely decision-making. The multidisciplinary team comprises veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff who work cohesively to deliver consistent patient care. Core opening hours run Monday to Friday with a half day on Saturdays, and the rotaed shifts align with these hours.
