About the Role:
- The client is seeking a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon to join a multi-disciplinary hospital team.
- The role carries a strong surgical focus alongside general practice responsibilities across medicine and routine care. The position is based primarily at the main hospital, with scheduled rotations through consulting-only branches to provide varied exposure and continuity of care.
- The successful candidate will work within a team of 13 Vets and will contribute to case discussions and collaborative decision-making.
- Candidates should be confident across core GP areas and comfortable managing a busy caseload. A Surgical Certificate or commitment to pursuing one would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, a constructive attitude, and a team-focused approach are essential.
- This is a permanent, full-time role on a four-day week with a 1 in 8 weekend rota. Minimal on-call requirements are expected, supported by a dedicated ECC team on-site.
- There are opportunities within the role for you to mentor recent graduates and to engage with practice initiatives, including sustainability projects and social events.
