About the Role:
- The client is seeking an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a broad range of GP skills.
- The role will include a balanced caseload of consultations and routine surgeries, with 20-minute consults as standard to support considered clinical decisions and client communication.
- Candidates will be confident across everyday small animal medicine and surgery, and will value collaboration with an established clinical and nursing team.
- An interest in mentoring and development is welcomed, with the option to become a Vet GDP Advisor as the team supports recent graduates.
- There are no out-of-hours commitments and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, which supports wellbeing and a balanced schedule.
- Flexible working arrangements can be considered.
About the Package:
The package includes a salary up to £70,000 p/a reflective of skills and experience, private health care, life assurance at four times annual salary, contributory pension, paid RCVS, BVA, and VDS memberships, a dedicated CPD allowance with support towards certificates, career progression pathways, no OOH, a cycle to work scheme, colleague assistance programmes, exclusive company discounts, and a relocation allowance of £1,000 for direct applicants. About the Practice:
The practice is a locally owned, RCVS-accredited small animal clinic recognised as ‘Outstanding’ for Client Care and Inpatient Services. It operates from a stand-alone building on a busy retail park with ample parking and nearby amenities, a short walk from the train station, and close to the town centre. The clinical team includes a practice owner who holds multiple certificates, a highly experienced surgeon with two decades in practice, a recent graduate, and a skilled nursing and client care team.
