About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable locum Veterinary Surgeon to support a busy small animal caseload across a defined set of dates. The role will cover daytime consulting and theatre sessions, with shifts scheduled between early and late finishes as listed. The locum will manage routine consultations, perform common surgeries, interpret imaging, and work collaboratively with a large clinical team. The practice will provide well-structured handovers and support to ensure continuity of care. Confident communication, accurate record keeping, and sound clinical judgement will be essential.

The practice is a modern small animal facility serving the Lincoln community. It offers a comprehensive range of services, from preventive care to surgery, supported by digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and a well-equipped surgical suite. A team of over 20 professionals, including Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff, delivers a consistent standard of care across six days per week.
