About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable Small Animal Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover across set dates through November and December, with the main assignment running from 11 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. The role will involve a balanced caseload of consultations, routine surgeries, and support for emergency cases as required. Candidates should be confident with first-opinion work, comfortable managing their own consult blocks, and able to collaborate with a clinical team. The schedule includes varied day shifts within the practice’s operating hours, with some weekend and late finishes by rota. The locum will contribute to high standards of clinical care and clear communication with clients and colleagues.
