Full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse – Cardiff

Key Details:

  • Working Days: Full-time
  • Hours: 38.75 hours per week, with a share of nights 1 in 8 and Saturdays 1 in 8 (08:30–17:00)
  • Duties: Inpatient care overnight on sole charge with off-site veterinary support; no OOH call handling

About the Practice:

The practice is an established, RCVS-accredited small animal clinic serving Cardiff and the surrounding areas for over a century. Services include routine and complex surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, imaging, an in-house laboratory, nurse clinics, vaccinations, neutering, parasite control, microchipping, blood pressure monitoring, tonometry, acupuncture, and feline behaviour sessions. The clinic holds silver standard cat-friendly status with separate waiting areas to support low-stress visits. A large clinical team includes approximately 20 veterinary surgeons and 19 veterinary nurses, with several certificate holders.
