About the Role:
- Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive team in a progressive small animal setting.
- The role will involve delivering nurse consults, managing patient admissions and discharges, monitoring anaesthesia, and providing surgical nursing support.
- You will oversee inpatient care and recovery, undertake laboratory work, and complete clinical administration. The role also includes supporting junior team members and student nurses.
- The practice encourages nurses to use the full range of skills and contribute to the development of clinical services.
- Flexible working patterns can be discussed. Weekends are shared on a rota with time off in lieu, typically 1 in 6 alternating between Saturday day shifts and a full weekend day shift pattern.

About the Practice:
The practice is an RCVS-accredited, multi-site small animal service with a long-standing presence in the local community. It operates modern facilities, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. It provides 24/7 care for clients with its own on-call service and a dedicated out-of-hours night RVN team. The team comprises experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support colleagues who prioritise clinical standards, communication, and patient welfare.
