About the Role:

• The client is seeking a capable Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover across two blocks.
• The first block runs from 17–29 October, including Saturday 18 and Sunday 19.
• The second block runs from 14 November–14 December, with cover required on 22 and 23 November, and 6, 7, 20, and 21 December.
• The locum will work five days per week during each block, with specified weekend shifts as above.
• The role may comprise a balanced mix of consultations and routine surgery, or be consultations only, depending on the locum’s preference and experience. The caseload will include routine small animal presentations, with scope to manage cases to a high clinical standard. The practice values clear communication, reliable record-keeping, and collaborative working. The locum should be confident with sole-charge consulting when required and comfortable contributing to smooth daily workflow.
