About the Role:

The client is seeking a registered veterinary nurse to provide locum cover across three sites in Ayrshire. The role will include inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, theatre support, nurse consultations, and laboratory work. The locum will work four days per week with participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday rota. Flexibility to travel between local branches will be required to provide cover where needed. The successful nurse will demonstrate confident clinical skills, clear communication, and a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team. Experience with digital imaging, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory workflows would be advantageous.

The practice is based in a vibrant coastal town and operates extended hours to support the local community. The multidisciplinary team includes five veterinary surgeons, four registered veterinary nurses, and experienced support colleagues.
