About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide small animal cover across consultations and theatre during a defined three-week period. The role will be four days per week with participation in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota. There will be occasional sole charge in the afternoons, so confidence with routine consults and procedures will be required. The veterinary surgeon will collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, manage daily cases efficiently, and support the smooth running of the rota.

About the Practice:

The practice is a modern small animal clinic with an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray, enabling comprehensive case work-ups and timely diagnostics. The team comprises eight dedicated staff members who provide services Monday to Saturday with flexible scheduling. Caseload spans routine health checks through to complex surgeries, offering a varied and engaging work environment. .
