About the Role:
- The client is seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a committed small animal team.
- The role will focus on advancing clinical standards and embedding evidence-based practice across the surgery.
- The successful candidate will provide day-to-day clinical leadership, mentor and upskill colleagues, and contribute to the strategic development of services.
- The working pattern is 4 days per week with a 1:4 weekend rota.
- There is no out-of-hours requirement, though the Head Vet will be on call for advice if there are overnight inpatients.
- The position suits a clinician with sound surgical and medical experience, strong communication skills, and the confidence to coach a multidisciplinary team.
