Full-time RVN to join a Hospital Practice in East Sussex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team at a 24-hour hospital in Brighton. This role is perfect for someone experienced in a hospital environment and confident in managing a range of medical and surgical cases.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be part of a team handling a diverse caseload, with both emergency and advanced medical cases referred from five branch practices and local practices.
- The working schedule is full-time, four days a week, with a 1:8 weekend rotation and a day off in lieu on Mondays.
- There is a dedicated in-house out-of-hours team for smooth handovers.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Someone who is experienced in a hospital environment and is confident in managing a range of medical and surgical cases.
- Has excellent nursing and communication skills and demonstrates a keen interest in driving standards and supporting, and developing a team
- Has a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care to pets and their owners
- Demonstrates strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and can prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses a high degree of attention to detail
- Commits to ongoing professional development
Benefits:
- Excellent Salary between £31,000 and £34,000 pa, reflective of skills and experience
