Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their independent, forward-thinking practice in Dunfermline, Fife. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the development of a modern and well-equipped practice in Central Scotland.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Dunfermline, Fife

Hours: Full-time

Practice Opening Times: Consultations by appointment only

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Sunday: Closed – Emergencies Only

This role offers the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team in a modern and well-equipped environment, delivering high-quality care to clients and their pets.

About the Role:

  • The position is full-time, but flexibility can be discussed for the right candidate.
  • On-call duties for mixed vets are relatively quiet, with a rota to be agreed upon.
  • The role is suitable for individuals with varying levels of experience, though a minimum of two years’ experience is preferred.

About the Practice:

The practice is proudly independent and places a strong emphasis on continuity of care, which is highly valued by clients. Located near Edinburgh in Central Scotland, it offers stunning views of the Three Bridges across the Firth of Forth. The purpose-built premises, opened in October 2022, are designed to provide comprehensive care for both small and large animals. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a sheep advanced reproductive centre.
