Registered Veterinary Nurse – Devon

The client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their independent small animal practice in East Devon. This role is available as maternity cover starting in December or as a permanent position to support the practice’s ongoing growth.

Key Details:

– Competitive hourly rate of up to £14.18.

– £1,000 pro-rata CPD allowance, which includes travel and accommodation costs.

– Flexible working options: part-time or full-time.

– Preferred working days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

– Officially 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, though currently operating at 1 in 6.

– No out-of-hours duties.

About the Practice:

The practice is a well-established, independent veterinary organisation with over a decade of experience. It is known for prioritising the well-being of its team and patients. Operating across two RCVS-accredited sites, the practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital X-ray, colour Doppler ultrasound, a dedicated operating theatre, digital tonometry, multiparameter monitors with capnography and NIBP, and laparoscopic spay equipment.

The team comprises 24 professionals, including 6 veterinary surgeons and 6 RVNs. The practice fosters a collaborative and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Start Date:

The maternity cover contract begins in December, with the option for a permanent position to start at any time.
