  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday 08:30–18:30
  • Weekend Working: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
  • On-Call / Out-of-Hours: None required

The position offers a mix of surgery and consultations without the need for out-of-hours or on-call duties.

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform routine and elective surgeries.
  • Conduct consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, reception, and veterinary colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and client communication.
  • Participate in a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered to practise in the UK.
  • Have relevant clinical experience, ideally in both surgical and consultative roles.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a client-focused approach.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment, working alongside skilled nurses and support staff.
  • Show commitment to continuous professional development.

It is dedicated to providing compassionate and professional veterinary care to a diverse range of pets, including cats, dogs, small mammals, and exotics. The facility includes modern equipment such as an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and separate dog and cat wards.

As a VN training practice, the clinic supports the development of veterinary nurses and fosters a collaborative work environment with experienced RVNs, SVN students, and a supportive reception and clinical team.
