The Role:
- Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with 1 to 5 years of recent UK experience in small animal practice.
- This position is ideal for a candidate looking to expand their medical and surgical skills in a supportive, family-run, non-corporate environment.
- The role offers a diverse caseload, including 20-30 different surgical procedures daily, with each vet allocated two hours of operating time every day.
- Full-time with alternating four and five-day work weeks.
- Daily two-hour lunch breaks.
- No night emergency duties.
About The Candidate:
- The successful candidate will work alongside a team of 14 enthusiastic veterinary surgeons, including four certificate holders, and will benefit from the support of a highly skilled nursing team comprising 14 veterinary nurses and five auxiliary nurses.
- The practice fosters a collaborative atmosphere where team members are encouraged to learn from and support one another.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 to 5 years of recent UK experience in small animal practice.
- Proficiency in basic surgical skills.
- A commitment to professional development and teamwork.
Salary: They are offering a very competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £70,000 per annum, reflective of skills and experience.

The main centre is equipped with five operating theatres and an in-house hydrotherapy and physiotherapy centre. Additionally, there are seven air-conditioned consulting branches, ensuring a comfortable working environment.
