More About The Role

  • Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for inpatient care and medicine to join a 24-hour veterinary practice in Scunthorpe.
  • This is a new role created due to the expansion of their services and increasing demand.
  • The position focuses on inpatient care, internal medicine, and case management.
  • Responsibilities include working closely with the clinical team to provide treatment for hospitalised patients, contributing to case discussions, and mentoring junior vets.
  • A rota designed to support work-life balance is in place, with a dedicated night team fully awake and on duty.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a genuine interest in inpatient care and medicine.
  • Ideally, the candidate will hold or be working towards a certificate in internal medicine or Emergency and Critical Care (ECC).
  • Should be confident in managing complex medical cases and enthusiastic about collaborative problem-solving.
