Key Details:
- Working Days: Full-time, 42 hours per week with some weekend shifts on a rota.
- Hours: Full-time hours within a 24/7 hospital setting, no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks
- Duties: Inpatient admissions, anaesthetic monitoring, recovery and discharge, assistance with neurology cases, CTs, endoscopy surgical support, and collaboration with ACAs, SVNs, and pharmacy
About the Role:
- Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal hospital and emergency services clinic.
- The successful candidate will use their nursing skills across the theatre, wards, and diagnostics.
- Duties will include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthesia, managing recoveries, and coordinating discharges.
- The role will also involve supporting advanced neurology cases, assisting with CT procedures, and providing surgical assistance for endoscopy.
- The nurse will work alongside Animal Care Assistants, Student Veterinary Nurses, and a dedicated pharmacy team to ensure smooth theatre turnaround, efficient patient preparation, and streamlined discharges.

- Applicants will have sound general nursing experience, dependable customer service skills, and a genuine interest in animal welfare.

- Newly qualified and experienced RVNs will be considered.
