About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable Veterinary Surgeon to provide locum cover within a small animal setting. The role shall involve a balanced caseload of consultations and routine surgical procedures, with responsibility for day-to-day clinical decision-making and client communication. The locum should be comfortable managing a varied diary, maintaining accurate medical records, and working collaboratively with the existing clinical team. Confidence with standard small animal surgery and imaging interpretation would be advantageous. Support will be available from the resident team, and the rota will align with the practice’s opening hours. The booking includes specific December and early January dates, with scope for additional dates through to July 2026.
