About the Role:

• Our client is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to deliver high-quality consultations and routine surgeries across both branch and hospital settings. Around half of the role will involve sole charge at the branch level, with the option to make this the primary focus for candidates who prefer it, supported by the hospital team.
• The rota includes either 1 in 8 weekends or two Saturdays and one Sunday over eight weeks. There is an expectation to contribute to the out-of-hours rota for holiday and sickness cover.
• Individual progression is encouraged, with support from colleagues holding certificates in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.

• The practice is a tier 3 hospital and training centre with comprehensive facilities that include digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CO2 laser, laparoscopic equipment, a 64-slice CT scanner, and a 1.5T MRI scanner, plus an on-site diagnostic laboratory. It operates a close partnership with a referral service and runs a 24/7 emergency provision.
