About the Role:
- The client is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead and develop a progressive small animal service across two sites. The post holder will provide day-to-day clinical leadership while shaping practice strategy, planning, and budgeting.
- The role will include a balanced clinical caseload alongside coaching and mentoring of colleagues to support personal growth and development. Previous managerial experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as support will be available from the management team and access to a structured leadership programme.

About the Benefits:
- The package includes a salary of £60,000–£65,000 depending on experience, no out of hours, 6.6 weeks’ holiday including Bank Holidays, holiday buy and sell options, a £2,000 CPD budget per annum with further funding for certificate holders, paid professional memberships, VDS cover, Health Shield membership, enhanced family leave, discounted veterinary fees, and a Cycle to Work scheme.
About the Practice:
- The practice is a well-established small animal service in Doncaster with two sites, including a main hospital-status facility. It is fully equipped to support a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures, including cruciate and patella surgery and laparoscopic surgery. Diagnostics include digital imaging, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory with Imagyst, and I-STAT. Out-of-hours care is delivered by a dedicated provider on-site to ensure continuity for inpatients.
- The team is diverse and supportive, with certificate holders across medicine, surgery, and imaging. The location offers strong transport links by rail and motorway, with major cities within easy reach.
