Key Details:
- Working Days: Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays, day off in lieu
- Hours: Full-time or part-time considered, no OOH
- Duties: Inpatient care, theatre assistance, nurse clinics, client communication, stock control, and clinical waste management
- Salary: The package includes a salary up to £35,000 p/a, reflective of skills, experience, and hours agreed
About the Role:
- The client is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive team across two branches. The role requires delivery of consistent inpatient care, efficient assistance in theatre, and professional client communication.
- The RVN will admit and discharge routine surgical cases, run nurse clinics, and uphold practice standards in line with the RCVS Nursing Code of Conduct. The nurse will maintain accurate stock control and ensure compliant disposal of clinical waste.
- The position supports CPD engagement and encourages collaborative teamwork with vets, RVNs/SVNs, and kennel assistants.
- The practice offers flexibility with part-time options, no out-of-hours, and a balanced rota with 1 in 4 Saturdays and time off in lieu.

About the Practice:
The practice is a privately owned first opinion facility with two complementary branches. One site has a surgical focus, while the other covers elements of exotics and orthopaedics alongside general practice. Each branch operates three surgeries and is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and dental equipment. Dedicated dog and cat wards and an isolation area support high standards of patient care.
