About the Role:
- The client is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to guide a supportive small animal team and uphold high clinical standards.
- The role requires leadership across day-to-day caseloads, mentoring colleagues, and delivering excellent patient and client care.
- The position offers clinical freedom and access to advanced equipment, including ultrasound, dental X‑ray, and modern surgical and diagnostic tools.
- The working pattern is four days per week with one in three Saturdays, and there are no overnight duties due to an in-house night service.
- The practice supports professional development through full funding for advanced certificates as CPD or a £2,000 CPD budget for five days.
About the Package:
- The salary package is competitive up to £80,000 p/a, with professional fees paid, a pension scheme, six weeks’ annual leave including bank holidays, a human healthcare plan, an employee wellness programme, and heavily discounted veterinary care for personal pets.
