Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their flagship 24-hour hospital in Wanstead. This role is ideal for someone looking to explore night shifts or for a seasoned locum night RVN seeking stability in a 12-month maternity cover position.
The Role:
- This fixed-term contract involves a rotation of 4 nights on and 8 nights off, working from 7:30 pm to 8:30 am.
- Additional shifts include 18 nights per year, averaging a contracted 35 hours per week.
- The RVN will work alongside a permanent RVN, a student, or Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA), and a permanent night vet for comprehensive support.
- Responsibilities include conducting ward rounds, managing overnight calls and triaging emergencies, assisting in emergency surgeries, and performing general night tasks.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: £33,250 to £39,375 p/a (£38,000 to £45,000 FTE), reflective of skills and experience.
- 6.6 weeks of annual leave, including bank holidays (pro rata).
