Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a multi-award-winning boutique practice in Brighton & Hove. This anticipated 9-month maternity cover position will start from late September 2025, potentially requiring only 2 days per week from early 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be surgically competent and will work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They will be required to vary between a 9-hour mainly consulting day and an 11-hour operating day, with no out-of-hours. The ability to deliver exceptional client experience and display great interpersonal skills is essential.

About the Practice:

The practice is part of the respected Linnaeus group and is a fully refurbished facility with a fantastic team of 4-5 vets, 3 nurses, and support staff. The practice boasts modern facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory for efficient diagnostics, ensuring a good staff to patient ratio. The practice operates on a 5-day week, providing a work-life balance. It also offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of small animals.

Remuneration:

The pay rate is negotiable and will be dependent on experience.
