About the Role:

• The client is seeking a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small animal practice in Lambeth. The role will suit a confident RVN who enjoys a varied caseload and collaborative working.
• Core responsibilities will include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthesia and surgeries, and managing discharges. The nurse will assist veterinary surgeons, take blood samples, place intravenous catheters, and undertake minor procedures such as dental descaling. The position also involves running nurse clinics, handling lab work, managing laundry and instrument sterilisation, providing reception support for up to five hours per week, and maintaining accurate records including inpatient forms, anaesthetic sheets, and insurance documentation.
• The working pattern is approximately 40 hours per week over four days, where possible, with shifts from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
