- Hours: Early shift 8:00 am–4:00 pm, late shift 10:00/11:00 am–7:15 pm; Saturdays 9:00 am–6:00 pm with a weekday off in lieu
- Duties: General nursing across consults, theatre, inpatient care, and client communication
About the Role:
The client is seeking a reliable Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide locum support within a small animal setting. The nurse will rotate through early and late shifts and will contribute to a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, with a day off during the week when a Saturday is worked. Duties will include inpatient care, anaesthesia and theatre support, nurse consultations, laboratory tasks, dispensary work, and client advice. The role will suit a confident communicator who can integrate with an established clinical team and maintain high standards of patient care and record-keeping. The nurse should be comfortable working independently when required and collaborating closely with veterinary surgeons and support staff.
