Duties: General nursing, inpatient care, theatre support, and consultations

About the Role:

The client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide locum cover across a set schedule from late October through December. The rota includes weekday and Saturday shifts with a mix of early and late hours. The RVN will undertake general nursing duties including inpatient monitoring, anaesthesia support, theatre preparation and assistance, laboratory work, and client communication. Confidence in working within a busy first-opinion setting is required, with the ability to prioritise caseloads and support clinical workflow. Some dates indicate multiple vacancies on the same day, so team collaboration and adaptability will be important.
