Vet Surgeon – No OOH | 4-Day Week | Norwich
Our client is looking for a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join their friendly, experienced team in Norwich, who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to the pets and people of Norwich.

Key Details:
- 15-minute vaccination appointment blocks.
- 30-minute clinical appointments.
- Well-stocked orthopaedic kits.
- Mental health first aiders.
- Implemented BVA good workplace guides.
- Regular clinical meetings.
- Small animal GP status with PSS.
Hours:
- Full-time position preferred, working 39 hours per week over 4 days (9 am-7 pm). Part-time applicants are considered.
- Weekend rota essential: 1:5 Saturdays (9 am-6 pm) and Sundays (10:30 am-4:30 pm) at their sister site.
- No out-of-hours requirements.
- Bank holiday work on a rotation basis.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in small animal practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient care.
- Team player attitude with the ability to work independently.

The practice is situated in Norwich, a city that offers a perfect blend of urban and rural living. It is conveniently located close to the beach, the broads, and the city centre. The practice operates within Pets at Home but is individually owned and run. The team consists of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, including 5 experienced vets and 2 new graduates, alongside 8 Nurses, VCAs, and an administration support team. The practice is purpose-built with modern facilities and equipment, including digital x-ray and ultrasound. Partnership prospects may be available in the future, with ambitious expansion plans underway.
