Small Animal Vet – Norwich
Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team at Norwich Longwater.
About The Role:

Key Features of Norwich Surgeries:
- 15-minute vaccination blocks
- 30-minute clinical appointments
- Well-stocked orthopaedic kits
- Mental health first aiders
- Implemented BVA good workplace guides
- Regular clinical meetings
- Small animal GP status with PSS
Hours/Shifts:
- Preferably full-time, 39 hours per week over 4 days (9 am-7 pm), with flexibility for part-time applicants
- Weekend rota essential: 1:5 Saturday (9 am-6 pm) and Sunday (10:30 am-4:30 pm) at sister site
- No out-of-hours
- Bank holiday rotation
Candidate Qualities:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
- Ideally, at least 2 years’ experience in small animal practice
- Medical bias/specialism, such as Feline Medicine, is advantageous
- Consideration for consult-only Vets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient care
- Team player attitude with the ability to work independently

The practice is located in Norwich, a city known for its blend of urban and rural landscapes. It is conveniently positioned close to the beach, the broads, and the city centre. Norwich offers a variety of shops, a cathedral, and beautiful architecture. The practice operates three locations in Norwich, each individually owned and run. The team comprises five experienced Veterinary Surgeons, including one new graduate, six Nurses, VCAs, and an administration support team. The practice is purpose-built with modern facilities and equipment, offering support and development opportunities from a highly experienced regional team.
