This well-established veterinary practice in Central Kidderminster is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join its diverse and supportive team. The practice caters to a variety of animal species, including small furries and exotics, and offers a range of services from routine check-ups to complex surgeries.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have a varied and growing caseload.
  • Consult times vary depending on individual style, and breaks, including an hour lunch break, are always included in the day.
  • Full and part-time hours will be considered with a minimum of 1:4 Saturdays (9 am-12 pm).
  • There is no out-of-hours work with this role, and appointments finish half an hour before closing to ensure the team can catch up and leave on time.

About You:

  • Applicants should be RCVS registered, ideally with strong clinical skills and a surgical bias.
  • However, the practice is open to considering new graduates for this ever-growing practice.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, a people person, and committed to delivering outstanding care and customer service.

It is an approved training practice with a strong focus on continuous professional development. Benefits:

The practice offers an attractive salary of up to £75,000 (dependent on experience/full-time equivalent), as well as all the benefits that you would expect, including 5.6 weeks’ initial holiday, rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years’ service
