Full-time RVN Role – Only 1:4 Weekends – NO OOHS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse with post-graduate in-practice experience to join a growing team at a vibrant veterinary practice in the heart of Merton, South London.
This practice has recently undergone a significant refurbishment and expansion, offering an excellent environment for both staff and patients.
About the Role:
- This full-time position entails working 40 hours per week with just 1 in 4 weekends and no OOH, ensuring an excellent work/life balance.
- The role will encompass diverse first opinion nurse duties, from anaesthetic monitoring to inpatient care, nurse consults, radiography and ultrasonography, ordering, and assisting with procedures.
- There’s also an opportunity to get involved in schedule 3 procedures.

This practice is home to a supportive, stable team of 6 vets, 5 RVNs, 3 VCAs, a dedicated reception team, a practice administrator, and a practice manager. The facilities include 6 consultation rooms, 2 operating theatres, a dental suite with dental X-ray, a dedicated imaging room with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and rigid endoscope, as well as a dedicated pharmacy. The practice also caters to a variety of exotic cases, with separate dog, cat, and exotic wards, as well as separate waiting areas.
